Q: What happens if our team wins 2nd place ($45 registration fee) at a qualifying event and then win 1st place ($25 registration fee) at a later qualifying competition?
A: The team's registration fee will be based on their BEST placing finish at a qualifying event. In this situation, the team would pay the 1st Place Bid rate of $25 per participant. If the change in bid status occurs after the team has already sent in their registration to the IALC office, it will be up to the team to communicate their bid status change to the IALC registrations department. When necessary, IALC will issue a refund for overpayment
Q: If my team competes in Level 2 Large Junior when we get our bid, does that mean we MUST compete Level 2 Large Junior at the IALC?
A: Yes, each team must compete in the division in which they received their bid.
Q: Can Special Needs teams earn bids to the All-Levels Championship?
A: Special Needs teams do not need to earn a bid. They are all invited to compete for FREE at any of our locations.
Q: How are the "International" teams going to work into the competition? Will they have their own divisions?
A: International teams from across the world have been invited and many are making preparations to attend. Since they have so many unique challenges and additional costs associated with making the trip to the US, they are not required to earn a bid at a qualifier and will pay the 1st Place Bid rate of $25. These teams will not have their own divisions. They will compete, alongside the Americans, in the standard divisions offered.
Q: Are crossovers allowed?
A: Yes, unlimited crossovers are allowed. The crossover athlete will still be required to pay the registration rate associated with both of the teams they are representing.
Q: Are crossovers between CHEER and DANCE allowed?
A: Yes, unlimited crossovers between cheer and dance are allowed.
Q: If someone from our bid winning team can't make it to the All-Levels Championship, are we allowed to replace them with another athlete from our gym?
A: Yes. Unlike the USASF Worlds, we do not have any substitution policies in place.
Q: Are you offering Small Gym divisions?
A: Teams will compete in their qualifying divisions. If your team receives a bid in a small gym division, then they will compete in the same division at All-Levels. The small gym divisions will follow the numbers and guidelines set by the USASF.
